About me

Who am I...?

               I was born in the eastern European country of Romania in 1980.  My father, a Romanian folk dancer, defected from the communist country in 1981 in efforts to find opportunity and
prosperity for his family in America.  Two years and four months later he received his green card and
appropriate paperwork to bring his wife and two children to his new home.
             
             As a child I spent most of my free time playing sports and drawing Disney VHS box covers. 
I also spent time professionally dancing with my father in Romanian folk groups.  We performed for
many churches and a few venues across northeast Ohio.  While my parents noticed my talent for the
arts they enrolled me into a magnet school in Canton, Ohio that went by the name of Pleasant View
School for the Arts.  There I took state mandated classes as well as art classes that ranged from ballet
and drama (acting), to drawing and musical instruments. 
        
           In high school I continued playing baseball and landed on the varsity pitching staff as a junior. 
I also was involved in after school extra curricular activities such as chess club and weight lifting.  I
spent most of my free time engulfed in video games and motion pictures. 
         
          Today I am a proud husband to Diane E. Chiriac and lucky father to Tyson and Tidus Chiriac. 
I have spent the last three fall seasons coaching youth football in the Licking Heights School district. 
My family and I make it a habit to watch good movies, eat delicious foods, and be involved in church
together.


What can I do...?

         I am a multimedia specialist that thrives in collaborative environments.  I am well versed in 3d
modeling, motion design, and video editing.  I have an instinct for adaptation and have a niche for
thinking outside of the box.  Details are high on my priority and I am no stranger to deadline
sensitivity.  I will bring with me a multifaceted talent with the hunger and desire to build and grow a
potential company's name and reputation. 



Professional Information

• Graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with BFA in Media Studies.  Focus of study was 3d animation, motion graphics, video editing, and design.  (2013)
• Accepted an internship with RMG Advertising in 2011 where I performed multiple tasks ranging from web video editing and post production to design and backend portal editing.
• Attended Global Game Jam at Miami University
• Currently Freelancing
